A s of December 11, 2024, MEDAILAB is proud to announce its membership in the CAIRNE network.
CAIRNE, the Confederation of Laboratories for Artificial Intelligence Research in Europe, is an international non-profit association established by the European AI community. Its mission is to strengthen European excellence in AI research and innovation, with a dedicated focus on human-centered AI.
The network’s vision includes creating a pan-European consortium of Centres of Excellence in AI, strategically located across Europe, and establishing a central facility with state-of-the-art, “Google-scale,” CERN-like infrastructure—referred to as the Hub. This Hub will serve as a cornerstone for nurturing talent, fostering collaboration, and enabling interaction among researchers at all stages of their careers, across diverse AI disciplines.
We are thrilled to join this prestigious network and look forward to contributing to its efforts in advancing AI excellence in Europe.
